Introduction & Summary

We are seeking an IT Analyst specializing in mortgage solutions within the SD domain. The ideal candidate will excel in eliciting, documenting, and communicating both functional and non-functional requirements. A strong ability to translate business needs into actionable development tasks, coupled with expertise in IT solutions design, is essential for success in this role.

Main Responsibilities

The core duty of this position involves performing IT analysis specific to mortgage solutions, focusing on requirements gathering and documentation.

  • Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements for IT applications

  • Work hands-on within ongoing application development projects (SDLC)

  • Act as a bridge between:

    • business stakeholders

    • development teams

    • architects and other IT analysts

  • Translate business needs into:

    • user stories

    • backlog items

    • clear development tasks

  • Actively contribute to:

    • IT solution design

    • architectural discussions

    • technical reviews

  • Create and co-create technical and analytical documentation (not only business-level descriptions)

  • Resolve business and functional questions arising during:

    • solution design

    • software development

    • implementation phases

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Analyst in application development projects

  • Hands-on experience working in an architectural environment

    • understanding system architecture

    • dependencies between applications and components

  • Practical experience with:

    • APIs (e.g. RESTful services)

    • system integrations

  • Active involvement in creating technical documentation

  • Strong knowledge of modeling techniques:

    • process modeling (BPMN, UML)

    • data and information modeling

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams on software products

  • Ability to quickly onboard into an existing system and understand complex architectures

Nice to Have

  • Experience with mortgage-related IT systems.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.

  • Knowledge of industry regulations pertaining to mortgage solutions
