Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Application Support & Testing Engineer to join our team in supporting enterprise-level Information Management (IM) and Web Publishing Collaboration (WPC) applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing application support, troubleshooting technical issues, performing manual testing of web applications, and supporting test automation activities to ensure application quality and stability.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Application Support & Operations

• Provide second-level application support to end users by investigating, troubleshooting and resolving application incidents and issues.

• Support Windows and web-based applications, including SharePoint, collaboration platforms, web publishing, and business workflow solutions.

• Perform user account management, access control and security administration.

• Conduct preliminary problem investigations and coordinate with technical teams to resolve issues.

• Monitor application performance, system operations and internal control activities.

• Provide technical advice and guidance to end users on application features and usage.

• Prepare operational reports, maintain application documentation and provide user guidance or training.

2. Manual Testing & Quality Assurance

• Perform manual testing of web applications to ensure functionality, stability, and performance.

• Create, maintain, and execute test cases for application enhancements, bug fixes, change requests, and system updates.

• Document test results, identify defects, and follow up on issue resolution.

• Support testing activities for new application developments and system improvements.

3. Test Automation

• Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts.

• Support test automation activities using tools and frameworks such as Playwright and Azure DevOps.

• Analyse test results and assist in improving testing efficiency and coverage.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or an equivalent qualification.

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant work experience in IT application support, software testing or web application development.

• Basic knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, React, .NET and SQL.

• Familiarity with SharePoint or web-based applications will be an added advantage.

• Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and test case preparation.

• Knowledge or exposure to Playwright and Azure DevOps will be an advantage.

• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills and ability to work with end users and technical teams.

• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
