Job Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria and functional specifications.
- Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate workshops and apply Design Thinking to understand user needs.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and prioritise business requirements.
- Work closely with developers, designers, project managers and product owners in an Agile environment.
- Develop test cases and test plans, and perform functional, regression, UAT and end-to-end testing.
- Identify and track defects through to resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
- Strong software / IT background.
- Hands-on experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- At least 1 year of QA/testing experience, including manual testing and defect management.
- Strong business analysis, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of Design Thinking and user-centred design.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Miro, FigJam or similar tools.
Preferred
- Experience working with government agencies, public-sector organisations or government-related projects.
- Experience with UAT, functional and regression testing.
- Familiarity with Figma, TestRail or Postman.
- Business Analysis certification such as CBAP or CCBA.
