IT Business Analyst III

Lead and/or participate on cross-functional teams to implement, maintain, and enhance development functions for enterprise business applications implemented at DFA Dairy Brands (e.g. DMS, Serti, DSDi). Partner with the implementation and support teams to gather business and technical requirements to deliver solutions. Provide input on process, system design, integration testing, and post go-live support as needed. Coordinate with team members and external on- and off-shore consultants. Lead complex or high-impact projects with minimal direction.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and/or participate in the analysis, design, development, documentation, performance testing, and implementation of technical business solutions
• Gather and document complex business requirements; translate them into detailed functional specifications and/or interpret functional specifications; and convert them into technical solutions that can be implemented and supported
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes and systems, often identifying strategic improvements
• Collaborate with senior analysts and IT teams to design and propose technology solutions
• Ensure solutions align with business goals and technical standards
• Lead implementation and testing phases, often overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
• Provide support for implemented systems, including complex troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Conduct system audits and lead significant updates or migrations
• Develop comprehensive training programs and documentation for end-users
• Lead data analysis efforts, generating strategic insights. Design and maintain dashboards and reporting systems. Ensure the highest standards of data integrity and accuracy
• Lead large and/or complex projects. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. Manage cross-functional teams and ensure successful project delivery
• Maintain knowledge of advancing technologies and exchange new ideas and suggestions for improvement
• Mentor less experienced analysts and provide guidance on best practices
• Follow best practices that support business requirements and deliverables using approved DFA development and change control methodology. Follow approved DFA project management and governance standards
