IT Business Analyst

Join one of our Agile squads as an IT Business Analyst within the Private Capital domain. In this role, you will act as the core link between business needs and technical execution, owning the end-to-end solution design and quality definition for the eFront Invest platform and its integrations with other core systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Engineering: Partner directly with business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and software vendors to gather, analyze, and translate complex financial needs and market regulations into clear requirements.

  • Solution Design & Documentation: Own the end-to-end delivery of functional solutions. Document technical and functional changes, defining clear acceptance criteria for the development team.

  • Value & Impact Analysis: Produce workload estimations, cost-benefit analyses, and comprehensive business cases for new development proposals.

  • Change & Process Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of change requests, assessing downstream impacts while continuously looking for ways to optimize current production processes.

  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Drive the testing strategy by writing test plans, preparing test data, and coordinating user/client acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure flawless deployment.

  • Cross-Functional Troubleshooting: Collaborate with various teams to identify, investigate, and resolve the root causes of production and system issues.

Requirements

Domain Expertise & Experience:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in an IT Business Analyst or functional analyst role.

  • Strong background in the financial services industry, with a focus on Private Capital, Capital Markets, Fund Accounting, or Securities Services.

  • Hands-on experience with Fund Management platforms, such as eFront, Multifonds, or Investran.

  • Fluency in English with excellent communication skills to effectively manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • A strong professional interest in combining business analysis with agile project delivery.

Nice to Have

  • Practical knowledge of both Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies, including familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence.

  • Good overall IT skills, with SQL knowledge considered a strong asset for database analysis.
