Summary
IT Delivery Manager for a Federal Government client in Canberra, managing ICT project implementation, test assurance (DR, BCP, PVT), and resource coordination through June 2027. Requires an active NV1 security clearance and 5+ years of ICT project management experience.
We are looking for an experienced IT Delivery Manager to join our Federal Government client on a contract through to 30 June 2027.
This is an opportunity to work on significant ICT initiatives within a complex and nationally important organisation, supporting the delivery of critical technology projects and ensuring systems are secure, resilient and ready to perform when required.
Key responsibilities will include:
The successful applicant will perform the role in National Office in Canberra. -Hybrid working arrangements (i.e. a combination of onsite attendance at an AEC office and remote working)

Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day implementation of critical IT activities and assurance processes.
- Planning and coordinating integration, data flow, capacity and load, disaster recovery and business continuity testing.
- Managing Production Verification Testing and external assurance activities where required.
- Coordinating resources to deliver key outcomes within agreed timeframes.
- Providing timely advice on risks, issues and operational decisions.
- Supporting the effective implementation and maintenance of secure, reliable and resilient IT systems.
- Prioritising development and delivery activities to ensure resources are effectively allocated.
- Managing competing priorities and working across multiple technology and business areas.
- Working with technical and non-technical stakeholders to support successful delivery.
- 5+ years’ experience managing ICT projects, delivering to time, cost, quality and scope.
- Demonstrated experience planning and delivering test assurance activities within scheduled timelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate technical information to varied audiences.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to manage high volumes of work and changing priorities.
- A proactive approach, with the confidence to work with limited direction while contributing positively within a team.
- An active NV1 security clearance prior to commencement.
