IT Developer / Software Developer

Zenith Global S.p.A., part of IQ-EQ, seeks an IT Developer to support its digital transformation journey and evolve the company’s application landscape. The role focuses on designing, developing and maintaining software that enables core business processes, with REST API integrations and robust backend services.

You will work closely with the IT team to analyze needs, translate requirements into technical specifications, and deliver scalable solutions in a hybrid Milan environment.

Support Zenith Global in its digital transformation journey by evolving the application's landscape. Analyze business needs and translate them into technical specifications, designing scalable software solutions. Design, develop, and maintain software applications supporting business processes. Develop new features and enhance existing applications by optimizing performance, usability and maintainability. Collaborate in the design and implementation of web applications, backend services, and REST API integrations. Contribute to technical analysis, architecture definition and technology selection aligned with IT strategy. Ensure reliability through testing, debugging and evolutionary maintenance activities. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical/scientific disciplines. 3–5 years of experience in a Software Developer role. Excellent knowledge of Java and good knowledge of Python. Experience in web application development and solid understanding of main software development paradigms. Knowledge of backend frameworks, preferably Spring Boot. Experience in designing and developing REST APIs and application services. Good knowledge of SQL and relational DBMS (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server). Familiarity with Git and Agile development methodologies. Remote work up to 3 days/week Tech skill development
