IT Engineer - Cisco Networking (Training)
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct IT courses as trainer for Cisco Networking Academy for conducting CCNA course and other IT courses, fundamental courses for Linux, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Python Programming, etc.
- Collaborate with department and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop customized training solutions.
- Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, manuals, and hands-on labs
- Keep update professional skills for related area such as CCNP level for networking, cybersecurity, etc. and also on teaching methodologies.
Additional Responsibilities
- Taking as key IT engineer for managing Moodle (LMS) annual maintenance service provided by service provider to ensure the system operation well and for participating in further development of LMS.
Job Requirements
- Enthusiasm on contribution of technical know-how to others and suitable interpersonal skill
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field as mandatory but preferred on Master degree holder of these area
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and security
- Proficiency in hands-on skill on network equipment and system (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, etc)
- Excellent instructional and presentation skills
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are preferred
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
