IT Forward Deployed Engineer

The FDE Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating the Forward Deployed Engineering team to ensure effective implementation, integration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of technology solutions that support business operations.

This role acts as a technical bridge between Business Users, Product Management, and Software Engineering teams, ensuring that business requirements are translated into practical technical solutions while maintaining system reliability, delivery quality, and operational efficiency.

The FDE Supervisor is expected to combine hands-on technical expertise with team leadership, stakeholder management, and strong problem-solving capabilities.

1. Act as a technical bridge between Business Users, Product Management, PMO, and Software Engineering.

2. Analyze business requirements and recommend feasible technical solutions.

3. Oversee system integration, implementation, troubleshooting, and technical support.

4. Coordinate issue resolution, root cause analysis, and escalation to Engineering teams.

5. Support UAT, production rollout, and post-implementation stabilization.

6. Identify opportunities for automation, AI adoption, and operational efficiency improvements.

7. Drive AI-powered solutions to enhance business processes, team productivity, and technical problem-solving.

8. Monitor team performance, task priorities, delivery timelines, and technical documentation.
   
   
   Job Requirement

   • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

   • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in Software Engineering, System Integration, or Technical Implementation.

   • Minimum 1–2 years of technical team leadership or supervisory experience.

   • Strong understanding of SDLC, APIs, databases, system integration, and software architecture.

   • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go, Python, JavaScript, or Java).

   • Experience in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution.

   • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, monitoring tools, and Agile methodologies.

   • Understanding of AI technologies, including Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development tools.

   • Experience with AI-powered automation, AI agents, or integrating AI solutions into business workflows is an advantage.

   • Strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

   • Ability to balance hands-on technical work with team management responsibilities.

   • Experience in logistics or enterprise operational systems is an advantage.
