IT Helpdesk Engineer
You will install, configure, troubleshoot, and replace Windows and macOS user devices. You will plan device replacements, support onboarding and offboarding, manage software deployment and licenses, register and audit IT assets, respond to internal IT requests, prepare user guides, and support compliance with basic security policies.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and replace Windows and macOS user devices
- Plan replacement of aging devices and manage peripheral distribution
- Prepare devices and manage accounts, backups, and data resets for onboarding and offboarding
- Transfer data and reconfigure devices for department moves or equipment replacements
- Install and deploy business software and manage software licenses
- Register and audit IT assets, including PCs, peripherals, software, and servers
- Resolve internal IT requests and create user guides
- Check security-solution installation status and support basic security-policy compliance
Requirements
- Two to three years of IT helpdesk, IT operations, or IT support experience
- Experience installing and configuring Windows and macOS user environments and resolving issues
- Experience managing IT assets and software licenses
- Basic networking knowledge, including IP, DNS, Wi-Fi, and printer sharing
- Experience using IT management tools such as asset-management or ticketing systems
- Experience setting up IT environments for office relocations or new offices
- Linux experience
- Experience operating basic information-security policies
