Job Summary
The IT Infrastructure & Security Manager is responsible for leading the organization's IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology operations. This role ensures the availability, security, scalability, and reliability of all IT systems while protecting company assets from cyber threats and ensuring business continuity.
The successful candidate will lead infrastructure strategy, oversee security governance, manage cloud and on-premises environments, and drive continuous improvement across the organization's technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Cloud Management
Manage the organization's on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of all IT systems.
Oversee servers, storage, virtualization, Microsoft 365, Azure/AWS environments, and enterprise networking.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
Develop and execute the company's cybersecurity strategy.
Implement and maintain security controls, firewalls, endpoint protection, identity management, and vulnerability management.
Monitor security incidents and lead incident response activities.
Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing.
Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, GDPR where applicable).
IT Operations
Ensure stable day-to-day IT operations with minimal downtime.
Monitor infrastructure performance, system availability, backups, and disaster recovery readiness.
Manage software licensing, hardware lifecycle, and IT asset inventory.
Oversee IT service delivery and ensure timely resolution of critical incidents.
Leadership & Strategy
Lead, mentor, and develop the Infrastructure & Security team.
Define IT policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Manage IT budgets, vendors, contracts, and technology procurement.
Recommend and implement new technologies that improve efficiency, security, and business performance.
Partner with business leaders to align IT initiatives with organizational goals.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Master's degree is an advantage.
Experience
7+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration, or Network Engineering.
At least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Proven experience managing enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity operations.
Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure and/or AWS).
Experience implementing disaster recovery, business continuity, and enterprise security programs.
