IT Infrastructure Engineer — Hybrid, High-Impact Systems

EG Group is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to help maintain and enhance our global IT infrastructure. You will play a key role in ensuring reliable, secure systems and serve as a key escalation point for complex technical issues.

You’ll collaborate with the Infrastructure Manager and wider IT teams to implement solutions, improve processes, and support business continuity. A proactive, problem-solving mindset is essential.

Collaborate with IT to plan, implement, and document changes to IT infrastructure. Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery testing and execution. Escalate and resolve complex infrastructure incidents promptly. Monitor system health and maintain service availability and performance. Assist IT Service Desk with infrastructure guidance and issues. Identify opportunities to improve IT processes and systems. Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and management. Hands-on experience with Hyper-V or AHV virtualization. Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, and backup tooling knowledge. Solid networking basics and familiarity with Linux/Unix (optional).
