IT Manager - Logistics Technology & Transformation

An international logistics organisation undergoing significant growth is seeking an experienced IT Manager to support and develop technology across its UK operations.

This is a broad leadership role combining elements of infrastructure, cybersecurity, business applications, warehouse technology, digital transformation and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with operational leaders, customers, technology partners and senior management to ensure technology continues to support business growth, operational excellence and future innovation.

The opportunity would suit technology professionals with experience across logistics, warehousing, supply chain or distribution environments who enjoy combining technical leadership with business-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead technology initiatives across multiple UK logistics sites.
* Support infrastructure, systems, applications and operational technologies.
* Drive digital transformation and continuous improvement projects.
* Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders.
* Manage technology suppliers and external service providers.
* Support cybersecurity, resilience and technology governance.
* Oversee logistics systems including WMS, EDI and related operational technologies.
* Deliver technology projects from concept through implementation.
* Contribute to future technology strategy and growth plans.

Ideal Background

* IT Management, Technology Management or Digital Transformation experience.
* Exposure to logistics, warehousing, supply chain or distribution operations.
* Understanding of WMS, TMS, EDI, automation or warehouse technologies.
* Experience managing infrastructure, applications or business-critical systems.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Experience working within multi-site operational environments.
