IT Manager in Bangkok leading IT operations: maintaining infrastructure (firewall, VPN, VMware, Veeam, 3CX, Microsoft 365), enforcing security and ITIL-based governance, managing budgets, vendors, and the IT team, while driving migration from on-premise to AWS cloud.
Salary: ฿60,000 – ฿80,000 per month
About the role
Lead and manage IT operations, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and business applications. Drive AWS cloud transformation initiatives, including migration from on-premise environments to AWS Cloud infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including Firewall, VPN, VMware, Veeam Backup, Data Replication, 3CX IP-PBX, and Microsoft 365 Business Premium
Establish and enforce IT governance, security policies, standards, and compliance requirements to ensure business continuity and data protection
Manage and respond to IT service requests in a timely manner while monitoring service quality and SLA performance
Analyze business requirements and collaborate with key users to design and implement effective IT solutions and projects
Plan, manage, and oversee IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, implementations, and infrastructure enhancements
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure project milestones and timelines are achieved
Lead, coach, and develop IT team members to strengthen technical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and operational excellence
Manage IT budgets, maintenance agreements, software licensing, and asset management to optimize IT investment
Coordinate with vendors, outsourcing partners, and service providers to ensure service quality and project delivery
Handle incident escalation, crisis management, and business continuity activities to minimize operational impact
About you
Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Information systems management
8-12 years of experience working in IT operations, program development
Experience leading and managing medium to large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures, application across various technologies
Familiarity with administration, performance tuning, and system monitoring
Understand ITIL Fundamental concept and apply to daily operation
Good analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills and the ability to explain complicated technical information in business terms
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
Good interpersonal and presentation skills
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
