IT Operations Lead (Hungary)

We are looking for an experienced IT professional to lead our local IT function while remaining actively involved in business applications, system improvements, and digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, implement, optimize, and maintain all local IT and Retail systems, and audiology devices, ensuring reliability and continuous operation.
• Oversee system performance and proactively manage improvements to make business applications more efficient and user-friendly.
• Drive and harmonize corporate IT initiatives that directly support business performance and process optimization.
• Oversee IT security and compliance requirements (NIS2, EESZT)
• Manage and support a Hungarian IT team of three, and third-party IT service providers, acting as both leader and active contributor in operational activities.
• Provide hands-on support for business applications, especially Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision), ensuring smooth daily operations and development.
• Work closely with external development partners to design and deploy technical enhancements.
• Ensure high-quality data management, integrations, and system connectivity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with management and other business units to align IT solutions with operational needs (CRM).

Requirements

• University degree in Economics, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT operations and business application support.
• Fluency in Hungarian and English, both written and spoken.
• Expertise in various ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) is an advantage.
• Experience in managing or coordinating IT teams/projects.
• Ability to transform complex systems into intuitive, user-friendly solutions.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a strong business orientation.
• Experience in system development or customization is an advantage.
• Experience in the healthcare sector is a strong advantage; retail background is a plus.
