About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised IT Project Manager Consultant to lead and coordinate all IT and Audio Visual (AV) workstreams across two major office relocation projects.

This is a key consultancy position, working closely with internal IT leadership, business stakeholders, and external technology partners to ensure all IT infrastructure and AV deliverables are successfully implemented on time and within budget. You will be the primary point of contact for all technology-related aspects of the relocation programme from planning through to post-move support.

This is a fully on-site contract requiring a proactive, adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced and evolving project environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain effective project governance.

  • Lead and manage all IT and AV workstreams from project initiation through post-move stabilisation.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, RAID logs, and action trackers.

  • Coordinate activities with internal IT teams and external IT and AV consultants.

  • Act as the primary liaison between technology teams, project stakeholders, and third-party suppliers.

  • Proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.

  • Produce regular project status reports for senior IT leadership.

  • Ensure project documentation complies with internal governance and quality standards.

  • Support procurement activities, including RFP processes and vendor management.

  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale IT office relocation projects.

  • Strong understanding of wayleave processes and telecoms consents management.

  • Solid knowledge of telecoms infrastructure and connectivity.

  • Experience managing IT and AV consultants and third-party suppliers.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage at all organisational levels.

  • Strong budget management and financial reporting experience.

  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

  • Experience supporting procurement and RFP processes.

  • Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools.

Desirable

  • PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent project management certification.

  • Experience with structured cabling projects and data centre environments.

  • Knowledge of AV system design, deployment, and integration.

  • Understanding of building regulations relating to IT and AV installations.

  • Experience working within a CIO-led or senior IT leadership environment.

  • Familiarity with AI prompting tools.
