IT Project Manager (Ref 26536)
Summary
Oversee end-to-end delivery of large-scale IT projects, coordinating internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to meet contract requirements, timelines, and compliance standards in the public transportation domain.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for the overall management and coordination of the project
• Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with contract requirements, timelines, and compliance standards
• Coordinate across internal teams, external stakeholders, and other third-party vendors
• Oversee project planning and execution, including budgeting, hiring, partner sourcing, and management of vendors and contractors
• Manage project scope, schedules, resources, risk, and quality control activities
• Ensure robust documentation, change management, and configuration control throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead progress reporting, stakeholder communication, and governance reviews
• Drive issue resolution and proactively mitigate risks across technical and operational domains
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., Company standards, Contract specifications, cybersecurity requirements, operational safety standards)
• Accountable for smooth planning, execution & timely delivery of projects and on all project aspects of design, development, delivery, installation, integration testing, implementation and maintenance
• Involved in contract administration, monitoring of progress, technical personnel training, logistic support, documentation
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
• Project Management Professional certification is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management in large scale systems projects
• Proven experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder systems integration projects
• Experience in deploying at least one implementation of IT or Software Projects
• Experience in at least one implementation in the area of Fleet Management Systems/Public Transportation Domain
• Strong project management and leadership abilities
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Sound understanding of technical documentation and systems architecture
• Good problem-solving skills with attention to technical and contractual details.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
