IT Project Manager (System)
Summary
Project Manager who keeps ELK-Desa's business applications (UCD Core Financial System, AutoCount, XCally and other financial/lending/collections systems) stable and improving. Day to day: lead system projects end to end, manage vendors and stakeholder expectations, and oversee data quality, migration and integration across platforms.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to oversee the management, stability and continuous improvement of the organisation’s business applications, including the UCD Core Financial System, AutoCount, XCally and other financial, lending, collections and operational systems.
The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, system vendors and the Digital Transformation Team to drive system enhancements, manage technology projects and ensure effective system integration and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Systems Management and Improvement
Oversee the performance, stability and continuous improvement of business application systems.
Develop system roadmaps and lead the modernisation of the UCD Core Financial System.
Identify opportunities for system enhancement, integration and process optimisation.
Manage system incidents and ensure appropriate business continuity arrangements.
2. Stakeholder and Project Management
Act as the key liaison between business users, process owners, IT teams, vendors and the Digital Transformation Team.
Gather business requirements, facilitate discussions and translate business needs into clear system specifications.
Lead and coordinate system projects from planning and requirements gathering through testing, implementation and post-implementation review.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks and stakeholder expectations to ensure projects are delivered effectively.
Communicate project progress, issues and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and Senior Management.
3. Data and System Integration
Oversee data quality, integrity and integration across business applications and reporting platforms.
Support data migration, reconciliation and integration initiatives.
Ensure systems can support business reporting, analytics, automation and AI initiatives.
4. Digital Transformation Collaboration
Collaborate with the Digital Transformation Team on initiatives affecting existing systems, processes and data.
Assess system impacts and support integration, testing and implementation of new solutions.
Ensure newly implemented systems are successfully transitioned into business-as-usual operations.
