IT Project Manager

Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced IT Project Manager in managing and delivering complex IT projects. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, proven leadership capabilities, and extensive experience in project governance, stakeholder management, and end-to-end project delivery. This role requires the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT project delivery, covering project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, deployment, and closure

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocation, milestones, and delivery strategies

• Oversee complex IT initiatives involving software development, system integration, infrastructure, cloud solutions, and enterprise applications

• Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and senior management to ensure project alignment and successful delivery

• Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, change requests, and escalation processes

• Provide regular project status reports, executive updates, and recommendations to support decision-making

• Ensure effective project governance, documentation, quality assurance, and compliance with organizational standards

• Apply Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies based on project requirements

• Lead cross-functional teams, drive accountability, resolve project challenges, and ensure timely completion of deliverables

• Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, operational efficiency, and resource utilization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• At least 10 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale IT projects

• Strong technical background in software development, system integration, databases, APIs, IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, or enterprise systems

• Extensive experience managing cross-functional technical teams, including developers, QA engineers, business analysts, architects, and infrastructure specialists

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), system architecture, and IT delivery processes

• Proven expertise in project planning, budgeting, resource management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement

• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies

• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms

• Ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and complex stakeholder requirements
