IT Project Test Analyst
Summary
Consultancy role placing a test analyst at an insurance client's Non-Life Claims transformation program in Brussels. Mission Overview:
Keystone Solutions is seeking an IT Project Test Analyst for a consultancy mission at a client site. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and innovative team within the Information Systems (IS) Non-Life Claims sector, focusing on the Non-Life Claims transformation program. This role involves combining test analysis, design, execution, and management to support development project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
As a project test analyst, you will carry out the following responsibilities under Keystone Solutions' consultancy model:
- Analyze business and technical requirements and identify quality risks.
- Define and maintain the testing strategy and master test plan.
- Establish the overall test scope, test levels, and test approach.
- Coordinate system, integration, end-to-end, and non-functional testing activities.
- Design and maintain test scenarios and test cases (technical & functional).
- Identify & create test data as needed to perform test cases.
- Execute functional, integration, and end-to-end test cases, validate results, and ensure adequate coverage of business processes and system interactions.
- Investigate incidents, unexpected behavior, and root causes of defects.
- Monitor test progress and provide regular reporting to project stakeholders.
- Support defect diagnosis through analysis of APIs, integrations, messaging components, and end-to-end transaction flows.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, functional analysts, architects, and developers.
- Contribute to the preparation & execution of release regression testing.
- Manage and follow up defects, including prioritization, reporting, and coordination with project teams.
- Support continuous improvement of testing, defect management, and quality assurance practices.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Personal Skills: Flexible, pro-active, fast learner, analytical skills, critical thinking, ownership, solution-oriented, team player, excellent communication skills, autonomous.
- Business Experience: Knowledge about business process management, requirements management & test engineering (2-5 years), knowledge of the insurance sector (2-5 years).
- Technical Experience: Proficiency in Excel & MS Office tools (2-5 years), ability to support functional analysts in investigating issues in the E2E flow (2-5 years), knowledge of SQL, DB2 (0-2 years), knowledge of Azure DevOps (0-2 years), experience in API testing (0-2 years).
- Functional Experience: Able to define test strategy & master test plan (5-8 years), experience in test analysis & execution (5-8 years), able to define a high-level test structure (5-8 years), experience in defect management (5-8 years).
