IT Service Engineer - Level 3
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 p.a. plus Super

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Level 3 IT Engineer, you’ll play a key role in helping our clients move from complexity to clarity.
You’ll work alongside a collaborative and experienced team, designing and delivering robust, future‑ready IT solutions that give our clients confidence, control, and peace of mind. This is a hands‑on, senior technical role where your expertise directly shapes outcomes for our clients and supports the continued growth of MicrotechDPS. You’ll be trusted to lead, solve complex problems, and guide both clients and colleagues through technical challenges. You will be working directly with our enterprise and SMB customers to drive technical solutions and outcomes.
This role can be based in either our Wagga Wagga or Wodonga office, with hybrid work-from-home arrangements available.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Leading the design and delivery of tailored client solutions, aligned to business goals and technology strategies ensuring industry best practices are followed
- Acting as a technical escalation point, diagnosing and resolving complex issues
- Overseeing the end‑to‑end delivery of infrastructure projects, including server and network implementations and migrations.
- Contributing to pre‑sales solution design, supporting the sales team with clear technical guidance.
- Advising on current and emerging technologies, and how they can be integrated to improve client outcomes.
- Mentoring and supporting other engineers, sharing knowledge and lifting capability across the team
TECHNOLOGIES YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll work across a modern and well‑supported technology stack, including:
- Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure
- Autotask PSA and Datto RMM
- Datto BCDR and Veeam
- Fortinet and HPE Aruba
We don’t expect you to be the expert on everything, what matters most is your ability to learn, adapt, and problem‑solve.
ABOUT YOU
You’re a senior engineer who is confident working across a variety of technologies, has a solutions-focused mindset and enjoys helping others succeed.
You bring:
- Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment, or a strong understanding of MSP operations and diverse client environments
- Advanced knowledge of: Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure, Virtualisation (VMWare/Hyper-V)
- A solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and modern cloud environments
- A valid Class C driver’s licence
- A valid National Police Check or willingness to undertake.

- Microsoft Certifications (MS-102, MD-102, AZ-104)
- Fortinet
- HPE Aruba
- Windows Server
- ITIL V4
