IT Solutions Architect
Rate of Pay: $117,957.00 to $135,850.00 per Year
Duties: Design and facilitate the delivery of products and services in alignment with Omron’s overall IT vision, strategy and operating framework. Collect and analyze business requirements, recommend improvements, lead infrastructure design and architecture discussions and assure a smooth transition of solutions to Omron’s operation teams. Work closely with our businesses and other IT departments in order to create sustainable infrastructure solutions. Provide technical infrastructure expertise throughout the offices within the Americas while realizing the strategic goals of Corporate Headquarters. Collaborate with the business, domain architects and key service providers to develop and maintain business and technical roadmaps. Manage service providers throughout the solution creation, implementation, operation, improvement and retirement lifecycle for infrastructure solutions. Manage core supplier relationships to drive value and evaluate performance against SLAs. Lead brainstorming activities, articulate requirements, and propose solutions that address business needs or problems. Ensure that solutions adhere to Omron’s architecture standards and operating framework. Ensure all necessary documentation is created and/or updated to facilitate the transition of a solution to Omron’s operation teams. Grow relationship with business stakeholders to improve alignment of IT and business initiatives. Identify opportunities for process improvement and modernization. Update roadmaps and architectural diagrams for newly delivered solutions. Assess security issues and risks associated with the creation, implementation and/or delivery of a solution. Support compliance of solutions with related Omron Group Rules, including data privacy and trade secret protection. Provide input into cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed solution to aid management in making implementation decisions. Propose and create system architecture, design models, specifications, diagrams, presentations and charts to provide direction to business companies and service providers.
Position requires 10% domestic travel.
