IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC)

About the Position The purpose of this position is to enhance healthcare delivery through the strategic use of technology and by ensuring robust Information System Network Security. The incumbent is responsible for actively monitoring all command servers and computers to swiftly address vulnerabilities, apply necessary security patches, and track emerging security trends. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Protect data, networks, and systems from unauthorized access.

Maintain constant awareness of potential threats to the security and integrity of command data.

Research, recommend, and implement corrective actions and procedures to reduce system vulnerabilities.

Conduct periodic evaluations and reviews to ensure the effective implementation of security safeguards.

Assess, identify, evaluate, plan, and deploy all software patches relevant to Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) assets.

Manage the full lifecycle of patch implementation.

Provide Information Assurance support and solutions to all members of the MTF and its branch clinics.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to patch management and information assurance activities for the MTF.
