Level 1/2 Service Centre Analyst (Mining Technology App Support)
This is an exciting opportunity to join a global market leader that is transforming mining operations through advanced, high-tech solutions that improve safety, efficiency and sustainability. We are recruiting an Application Support Analyst to join our Perth team.
We are looking for talented early-career to mid-career IT professionals who enjoy problem-solving, helping customers, and learning new technologies in a supportive environment. You don’t need to “know everything” on day one — what matters most is curiosity, collaboration and a willingness to learn.

You will be part of a high-performing, globally connected support team providing 24/7 first-line support across a suite of advanced mine technology solutions used around the world. No two days are the same, and you’ll be supported by experienced colleagues every step of the way.
This role is ideal if you’re looking to:

· Build technical capability in a supported, well-structured environment
· Work with leading technology focused on learning and collaboration
· Grow into specialist roles over time
· Be part of a team where your contribution truly matters

You’ll be required to:

· Provide first-line and second-line support for proprietary mining technology systems
· Diagnose and resolve incidents using structured processes (with guidance and escalation support)
· Communicate clearly and empathetically with customers and internal stakeholders
· Work collaboratively with global colleagues to ensure seamless support coverage
· Gradually develop specialist knowledge in one or more product modules as your confidence grows

We strongly encourage applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences, including those from under-represented groups in technology, even if you do not meet every requirement listed below.
Essential

· Industry Certification or Tertiary qualification in IT
· Technical and/or Mining experience
o Experience in a Service Desk or IT support environment and/or;
o On-site mining or Mining Dealer experience
· Exposure to enterprise systems and structured support processes
· An analytical, methodical approach to troubleshooting
· Excellent attention to detail
· A genuine customer-focused mindset
· Clear written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have (but not required)

· Microsoft Server environments (including virtualisation)
· SQL Server knowledge
· TCP/IP networking fundamentals
· Exposure to mining or heavy-industry systems
· An interest in how technology interacts with hardware, electronics or operational environments
· Curiosity about large-scale, real-world systems rather than purely theoretical IT

Standard hours are 8:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday. After approximately six months, the role will include on-call support one weekend day every month, shared across the team with specialist support on standby. Optional, ad-hoc travel to mine sites may be available for those interested but is never mandatory. Strong onboarding, mentoring and continuous learning are embedded into the role.
This is a 12-month contract position, with a strong likelihood of extension or transition to a permanent role for strong performers. The role is in-office in the Perth Redcliffe office, five days per week, and offers a stable, long-term opportunity within a global organisation.
