IT Support Engineer (Contract - Nelson & Gisborne locations)
Salary: upto $35 per hour + GST

The Role: We are immediately looking for a Level 1.5 Support Engineer to become fully involved in a major nationwide project with this particular requirement having its roots in both the Hawkes Bay, Gisborne Region and also in Nelson in the South Island NZ. The role will see you working on a major project which although is initially signed until the end of September 2026, in reality there would be multiple extensions to the work through 2027. You can definitely expect a full working week onsite. This role will report to the Deployment Lead and the work will involve supporting a large number of Users and Systems following each deployment. The day to day work would see you checking that software and apps are correctly installed on machines along with break/fix duties and daily reporting of your systems support. This organisation is very well known across NZ and a successful completion of these projects would be highly likely to see you being engaged in further projects.
The essential skills required:
- Systems support- at least 3yrs commercial experience at Level 1.5 on Windows and MS technologies.
- Winddows technologies - Win 10, Win 11, MS InTune, Cloud based support of MS Azure and M365.
- Existing capability - Win 10 - Win 11 migration capability, removing and adding users via SCCM
