About the role
Denton Corker Marshall is seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our Melbourne studio. Reporting to the Head of Systems & Technology, this role is responsible for providing technical support across the business, maintaining the end-user computing environment, administering Microsoft 365 and endpoint management platforms, and ensuring staff have the technology and support they need to work effectively. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, working directly with users, and taking ownership of device management, software deployment, and modern workplace technologies in a professional services environment.
Key responsibilities
Provide first and second-level technical support to staff across multiple office locations.
Respond to and resolve service requests, incidents, and technical issues in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and Microsoft 365 issues.
Administer and maintain Windows devices using Microsoft Intune and Group Policy.
Deploy, configure, secure, and support endpoint devices, ensuring compliance and security standards are maintained.
Implement and maintain device compliance policies, security baselines, and configuration profiles.
Package, deploy, update, and remove software across the organisation.
Administer software rollouts and application updates using Intune and other platforms.
Build, maintain, and support workstation imaging and deployment processes.
Prepare and provision new devices for staff and manage workstation lifecycle programs.
Provide support for Microsoft Teams Rooms and meeting room technology.
Maintain IT asset records, support documentation, and knowledge base articles.
Support testing, deployment, and user adoption activities for new technologies.
Provide technical input and operational support during infrastructure and application changes.
About you
Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience.
Demonstrated experience in an IT Support Engineer, Service Desk, Desktop Support, or similar role.
Strong experience supporting Microsoft-based environments.
Excellent knowledge of Windows 11 administration and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
Experience administering Group Policy.
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
Experience with workstation imaging, software deployment, and device lifecycle management.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
