Summary
Provides first- and second-level IT support for staff in a Singapore office: installing and troubleshooting computers, printers, Windows/Microsoft 365, user accounts, and LAN/Wi-Fi networks, plus patching, backups, basic security, and IT documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level and second-level technical support to users.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
- Support Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and other business software.
- Assist with network configuration, including LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Set up and maintain user accounts, email accounts, and access permissions.
- Perform software installation, updates, patches, and system maintenance.
- Assist with data backup, security, and basic cybersecurity practices.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to employees.
- Prepare IT documentation, reports, and troubleshooting records.
- Support IT projects and implementation of new technologies.
- Perform other IT-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, TCP/IP, LAN/Wi-Fi, and IT security will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Java, Python, Web Development, or Mobile Application Development will be an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to learn new technologies and develop technical skills.
