IT Support Officer

We’re looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Officer to join our Technology Team and provide friendly, practical IT support across Ambrose Construct Group. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for an IT graduate, school leaver, or someone passionate about technology and customer service who is keen to develop their skills and start a career in IT.

This position will initially be offered as a 3-month full time, casual role, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting our team with everyday technology issues, setting up devices, troubleshooting basic IT problems, and helping users navigate our internal systems and platforms.

You don’t need to know everything from day one. We’re looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology, a willingness to learn, strong communication skills, and a helpful attitude. If you enjoy solving problems and helping people, we’d love to hear from you.

Please note that this is an in-office role based at our Head Office on the Sunshine Coast. Remote work is not available for this position.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide friendly, first-level IT support to staff and trades.
• Help troubleshoot basic hardware, software, login, and system issues.
• Set up PCs, iPhones, iPads, and other workplace technology.
• Assist users with our internal systems, portal, and apps.
• Install software and help resolve common technical problems.
• Follow up on support requests to make sure issues are resolved.

What You'll Bring

• A genuine interest in technology and IT.
• Great communication and customer service skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of computers, Windows, iOS and/or Android.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence helping people who may not be tech-savvy.

Experience & Qualifications

• No extensive IT experience required.
• Ideal for an IT graduate, school leaver, or someone starting their IT career.
• IT studies or qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
• Any previous customer service or basic IT support experience is a bonus.
