On-site IT Support Specialist at Midwest Eye Care's Omaha location: troubleshoots end-user technology problems, configures and installs computers, maintains equipment and license inventory, travels between clinic locations, and trains staff — using Windows, Office 365, RMM and Active Directory.
Midwest Eye Care is looking for a full-time IT Support Specialist at our 13500 California Street location.
In this role YOU will:
- Troubleshoot end user problems with all forms of technology.
- Configure and install new and replacement computers.
- Learn and understand new software in order to train others.
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses.
- Train all new employees on software and hardware.
- Travel between Midwest Eye Care locations as needed.
Outstanding candidates will have:
- The ability to prioritize and keep requests organized.'
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding local and WAN.
- CompTIA A+ certification.
- Experience working with RMM and Windows Active Directory.
- Familiarity with Windows and Office 365
Education and Experience:
- At least two years related experience in Computer Science required.
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- Associates degree in Information Technology preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Prolonged periods of sitting while work on a computer.
- Must be able to push, pull, bend, stoop and lay on the floor possibly in tight spaces in order to install equipment.
