IT System Administrator
Handling Innovation, Inc. (HII) is looking for a System Administrator to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, and users to ensure reliable and efficient business operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer and maintain servers, networks, systems, and IT infrastructure.
Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating systems.
Manage user accounts, access rights, permissions, and security policies.
Perform regular system backups and assist in data recovery and disaster recovery activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues and provide technical support to users.
Maintain IT documentation, system configurations, and inventory records.
Implement and maintain IT security measures, antivirus, and system protection.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related concerns.
Assist in IT projects, system upgrades, and implementation of new technologies.
Ensure compliance with company IT policies, procedures, and information security standards.
Perform other IT-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
At least 2–3 years of experience in system administration or a related IT role.
Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, and system security.
Experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and basic network administration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and handle multiple IT concerns.
Willing to report onsite and provide technical support when required.
