IT System Engineer
Summary
Maintains the securities firm's Windows server estate in Jakarta: installing, patching and monitoring physical and VMware ESXi/vCenter virtual servers, running backup/recovery (Veritas), and administering Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange, sharing a 24x7 on-call rotation.
Key Responsibilities
Server Installation, Configuration and management (Physical, Esxi, and Virtual)
Backup and Recovery (Knowledge performing server backup and restoring procedure)
Server Maintenance and Monitoring (inclusive Robotic library)
Knowledge on DNS, DHCP, NLB (Window), AD and Forest knowledge, GPO, Terminal Server/RDS, Print Server, File Server, Symantec Veritas Backup and also review and server patching activities for both physical and virtual
Microsoft Exchange managing user mailbox, share mailbox analogy, manage user accounts and permissions in exchange, Monitor Exchange server performance and ensure availability, Restore Exchange data from backups as needed
Managing Active Directory objects related to Exchange, such as user accounts and distribution group.
Working closely with other IT teams/support team to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to messaging services.
Adminiters monitors, configures virtual or guest host utilizing vcenter.
Routine Monitor system and application performance to detect errors in early stage
have project responsibilities.
Responsible for sharing 24 X 7 on call ritation duties with other team members
