Install authorised applications, updates, drivers and utilities in accordance with licensing requirements, change controls and IBMA procedures.
Perform routine maintenance, including device health checks, patch verification, storage clean-up, peripheral testing and confirmation of endpoint-protection status.
Repair, replace or coordinate the replacement of faulty components and peripheral equipment within delegated authority, warranty conditions and approved arrangements.
Assist with the rollout, relocation and retirement of computers, printers, network-connected devices and classroom technology, including secure handling of stored information.
Support wired and wireless connectivity by checking cabling, device connections, access points and basic network settings, and refer infrastructure faults when specialist assistance is required.
Create, amend, suspend or remove user access only when properly authorised and in accordance with approved identity, password, multifactor authentication and least-privilege controls.
