THE ROLE & THE TEAM

As an IT Technician, you will take on a key role in the maintenance and troubleshooting of our on-site IT infrastructure. You are the first point of contact on-site (no remote) and play a significant role in ensuring that all technical systems function smoothly. You can expect an exciting and challenging task where you will use your IT expertise to fix errors and implement innovative solutions.

In this position, you have the opportunity to actively shape IT structures and support the development of the site. Together with your colleagues on-site, you will work to achieve operational goals and continuously optimize processes. WHY THIS ROLE IS EXCITING FOR YOU…

You will take on diverse, hands-on IT tasks and provide crucial 1st and 2nd-level support for our complex IT landscape, including all types of end devices (Windows, Linux, Android, Apple), as well as in the network and server area.

WE WOULD LIKE TO GET TO KNOW YOU IF…

You have completed training in the IT field, for example as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, IT Specialist, or IT Administrator.
Ideally, you have initial professional experience in system administration, particularly in the infrastructure area.
You take full responsibility for your tasks and proactively develop ideas within the team to optimize support procedures, documentation processes, and our knowledge transfer, and to continuously improve IT structures.
You are a team player and look forward to working in interdisciplinary teams in a 2-shift system to find the best solutions for our IT together.
Your good German and English skills (at least C1 level in German), both written and spoken, facilitate communication within the team and enable competent IT service as well as error-free documentation.

LOCATION: LAHR

Our employees in logistics ensure that more than 50 million customers in 25 European markets receive smooth and reliable service every day. Today, Zalando has a growing European logistics network with currently twelve locations in seven countries. In Germany alone, thousands of employees from over 100 nations work at several Zalando logistics sites.

The logistics center in Lahr in the Black Forest is the newest of our German locations. The 130,000-square-meter building sets new standards for the industry and combines state-of-the-art infrastructure with intelligent thinking and great team cohesion.

We shipped our first package from the Black Forest site in 2016 and offer jobs for around 2,500 colleagues. In addition to entry-level opportunities in warehouse logistics, we are also looking for interested candidates in administration and technical departments in Lahr.
