About the role

This is an instructor-led and hands-on IT troubleshooting training role. You will teach structured troubleshooting, problem analysis and root-cause identification to learners, demonstrating practical troubleshooting across Windows, computer hardware, software, printers and peripheral devices.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct instructor-led and hands-on IT troubleshooting training

  • Teach structured troubleshooting, problem analysis and root-cause identification

  • Demonstrate troubleshooting of Windows, computer hardware, software, printers and peripheral devices

  • Guide learners through LAN, Wi-Fi and basic IP connectivity troubleshooting

  • Conduct practical troubleshooting of Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Cover common browser, file-access, password, authentication and MFA issues

  • Guide learners in recognising phishing, suspicious emails and potential malware indicators

  • Facilitate practical troubleshooting scenarios and problem-solving exercises

  • Teach proper incident documentation and when to resolve or escalate issues to IT support

  • Provide clear technical explanations suitable for learners with limited technical backgrounds

About you

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Networking or related discipline

  • Relevant hands-on experience in IT support, desktop support, end-user support, technical support or IT systems

  • Good knowledge of Windows hardware and software troubleshooting

  • Practical knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi and basic network/IP troubleshooting

  • Familiar with Microsoft 365, particularly Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Understanding of common authentication, MFA and basic cybersecurity-related issues

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users

  • Confident in conducting demonstrations and hands-on practical exercises

  • Good communication, presentation and facilitation skills
