ITSM Business Analyst

We are hiring for Business Analyst with experience working on ITSM platform implementation based in Adelaide


Type: Contract till mid year with high possibility of extensions

Location: Adelaide

One of our clients is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support the implementation of a new IT Service Management (ITSM) solution. The resource will work closely with ICT teams, business stakeholders and the implementation vendor to understand the current Halo environment, including services, service catalogue, knowledge articles, CMDB and service management processes, to help design and implement ITIL aligned future state processes and workflows within the new platform.

The initial focus will be on supporting the core ITSM implementation while undertaking discovery and analysis activities to understand current operations, identify future state requirements and support solution design across both ICT and Facilities.

Essential Experience

• Experience as a Business Analyst on ITSM implementation projects.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL principles and service management processes, including Incident, Request, Change, Problem, Knowledge and Configuration Management.
• Proven experience documenting current state and future state processes and workflows.
• Experience working with implementation vendors and supporting solution configuration.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Highly Desirable

• Experience implementing enterprise ITSM platforms such as HaloITSM, Alemba, ServiceNow, Ivanti, Jira Service Management, Freshservice or similar platforms.
• ITIL Foundation certification
• Government sector experience.
• ICT operational environments and service delivery teams Experience.
• Understanding of service reporting, performance metrics and continual service improvement.
