Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with 6 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Java.
- Develop scalable and high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Work with databases to design queries, optimize performance, and manage data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, bugs, and production problems.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design and architecture discussions.
- Implement unit and integration testing to ensure application quality.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Required Skills
- 6 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot an
- d the Spring Framework.
- Hands-on experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with JPA/Hibernate.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
