A senior Java designer/developer joins a squad managing Customer and Contract master data repositories, contributing to a redesign targeting a 2026 go-live. Responsibilities
- Join a squad responsible for managing the Customer and Contract Master Data repositories within the information system
- Contribute to the redesign project for the Customer and Contract repositories, with a target go-live in 2026
- Design, develop, and maintain the application ecosystem
- Participate in implementing a Master Data Management tool for the Customer repository
- Develop and maintain a Java-based Contract repository on Azure with PostgreSQL
- Develop and maintain a Java-based data exchange and distribution layer for Customer and Contract data on Azure with PostgreSQL
- Manage production incidents (STEP/RCC/ODL)
- Analyze and resolve issues in STEP
- Develop fixes and enhancements for STEP/RCC/ODL
- Write functional and technical specifications
- Design technical solutions
- Implement monitoring with Elasticsearch
- Participate in the project's data migration activities
Requirements
- 6 to 9 years of experience in similar environments
- Expertise in STEP, ideally in a customer master data repository context
- Expertise in Java
- Proficiency in English
- Strong written communication skills
- Proficiency in SQL
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in an Agile project environment (SAFe)
- Ability to manage multiple topics in parallel, addressing functional issues related to banking operations
- Good understanding of functional requirements, with strong listening and communication skills
