Java Developer – Canada | 4–9 Years
About the Role:
We are looking for a talented Java Developer to join our growing team in Toronto, ON. This is an exciting opportunity to build scalable, high-performance software solutions in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications and services.
- Build scalable Microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following OOP, design patterns, and coding best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD processes.
- Work with SQL, Hibernate/JPA, and relational databases.
- Collaborate with Agile teams throughout the full SDLC, from requirements through deployment.
Technical Requirements:
- 4–9 years of professional Java development experience.
- Strong expertise in Core Java, Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring Framework.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Microservices, Hibernate/JPA, and SQL.
- Experience with Git, Maven, JUnit, and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
