Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java applications and services.

• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.

• Participate in software architecture and technical design discussions.

• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.

• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA Engineers, Product Owners, and other developers.

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

• Create and maintain technical documentation.

• Support deployment activities and production issue resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of professional experience in Java development.

• Strong proficiency in Java 8 or higher.

• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.

• Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.

• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.

• Understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.
