Your new role Spend approximately 80% of the time on hands-on programming and development activities. Develop, enhance, modify, and maintain applications within the Global Markets environment. Collaborate with global teams to design and build new functionality on MuleSoft, TIBCO, and other shared platforms. Interact directly with end users, compliance teams, and senior stakeholders to gather and define business requirements. Manage technology solutions in a high-risk environment, leveraging deep banking domain and product knowledge. Provide Level 3 production support for business-critical applications. Strong Java developer with extensive experience in building middle-tier services. Requirements: Hands-on developer with strong Core Java expertise and the ability to work across multiple frameworks. Good understanding of messaging frameworks and technologies, including IBM MQ, Kafka, and JMS. Knowledge of RDBMS, JDBC, Linux, XML, and in-memory databases. Experience using design patterns and adhering to software engineering best practices. Experience with SDLC automation tools such as Jenkins, Gradle, GitHub, Artifactory, and Ansible. Strong commitment to clean code principles. Adheres rigorously to Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and Continuous Integration (CI) Good understanding of Global Markets, particularly SWIFT messaging.
