Java Developer
Salary: RM 5,000 – RM 7,500 per month
About the role
We are seeking a talented Java Developer to join CMA Solutions Sdn Bhd on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative software development projects whilst contributing to the growth and success of our technology initiatives. Based in Subang Jaya, Selangor, you will be part of a dynamic development team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust Java applications that drive our business objectives forward. This role offers the chance to work on challenging projects whilst collaborating with experienced professionals in a fast-paced technology environment.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications and software solutions
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards
Collaborate with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues
Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party services
Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis through deployment and maintenance
Assist in the optimisation of existing applications for improved performance and scalability
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to Java development
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Java Developer or in a similar software development role
Strong proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented design principles
Solid understanding of core Java concepts including multithreading, collections, and exception handling
Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar technologies
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Experience with RESTful API development is advantageous
Knowledge of cloud platforms or containerisation technologies is preferred
