emagine is looking for a Swedish speaking Senior Java Developer.

Length: End of December with possible extension
Location: Minimum 3 days per week on-site in Sickla (Stockholm)
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Java Developer who can take ownership from idea to production and contribute to both development and technical decision-making. You will be part of a product-oriented environment, building scalable and business-critical solutions with a strong focus on modern development practices and AI-assisted engineering.
Key requirements:
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Java development
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot
• Proven experience building microservices and scalable, robust systems
• Comfortable driving technical design and architecture decisions
• Hands-on developer with an end-to-end mindset
• Experience working in agile, product-focused development environments
• Self-driven, proactive, and communicative personality
• Experience working with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar
• Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written
Meritorious experience:
• AWS
• Kubernetes
• Vue.js
• Experience from e-commerce, travel, or other business-critical digital platforms
