Ascendion Engineering seeks an experienced (8-12 yrs) Java developer for a 5-days-on-site role in Bengaluru, building and maintaining scalable backend microservices and REST APIs with Spring Boot, AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS), Kafka event-driven pipelines, SQL/NoSQL databases, and CI/CD pipelines. Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in backend development, microservices, and cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate should be hands-on with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, AWS, Kafka, and databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Advanced Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain Microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Develop and deploy cloud-based applications using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
- Implement asynchronous and event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, including database design and query optimization.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable, and production-ready code.
- Troubleshoot application, API, database, and production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software engineering best practices.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
