Ampstek is hiring 3 experienced Java developers for a long-term contract at a leading Dutch bank in Amsterdam (hybrid, onsite). Day to day: building enterprise-grade apps with Java/Spring Boot, microservices and REST APIs, Kafka event-driven solutions, and CI/CD pipelines on Azure.
We are hiring 3 experienced Java Developers for a long-term contract with a leading Dutch bank in Amsterdam. Start: ASAP. We have two profiles.
- Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and maintain Microservices and REST APIs
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Drive cloud-native development and engineering best practices
- Design and build event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka
- Implement messaging, streaming and asynchronous processing patterns
- Develop APIs and integration platforms on Azure
- Build scalable, cloud-native applications
- Implement secure, scalable and high-performance solutions
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA and business stakeholders
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews and automation
- 6+ years of total IT experience, with 5+ years of hands-on Java development
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservices, OR Azure and Kafka
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Able to work independently in an onsite client environment (hybrid, Amsterdam)
- EU/EEA citizenship, or a valid Dutch residence permit that allows you to work without sponsorship
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Background verification will be completed before onboarding
