Java Developer (Major Insurance Firm)

Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

Build and integrate RESTful APIs for policy management, claims processing, and billing systems.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices.

Maintain data privacy and security compliance across all financial and customer records.

Collaborate with business analysts, frontend developers, and QA teams to ship features on time.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and database queries.

3+ years of professional software development experience using Java (Java 11+ preferred).

Strong experience with framework ecosystems like Spring Boot and Spring MVC.

Proficient with relational databases and ORM frameworks.

Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.

Experience writing unit and integration tests.

Knowledge of standard CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Prior experience in financial services, fintech, or insurance domain is a plus.
