Role Description This full-time Java Developer role is based in the Greater Bengaluru Area in a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration with flexibility for some work-from-home. The Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java and related frameworks, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, building and integrating microservices, participating in code reviews, and troubleshooting issues across the development lifecycle. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, implement technical solutions, optimize existing systems, and support deployment activities. The developer will also contribute to best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement of the development process.
Qualifications
- Strong core Java and general Programming skills, with experience building robust, maintainable code.
- Hands-on Software Development experience across the SDLC, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Practical experience with Microservices architecture, including developing, integrating, and maintaining distributed services.
- Proficiency with Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC) for building scalable Java-based applications.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, relational or NoSQL databases, and version control tools (such as Git).
- Ability to work effectively in hybrid teams, with strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), or CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
