Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to support our Niagara development initiatives and help ensure compliance with Niagara Developer Program requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting software applications, with a focus on the Niagara 4 Framework and related building automation technologies.

The role requires an individual who can quickly learn and work within the Niagara ecosystem and obtain the required Niagara 4 Developer Certification within the prescribed timeframe if not already certified.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and modules.
• Develop custom Niagara 4 modules, drivers, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues and system defects.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on Niagara-related development projects.
• Participate in system design, code reviews, and technical documentation.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Stay updated on Niagara Framework developments and industry best practices.
• Complete Niagara certification requirements as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in Java development and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Experience in software development, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn the Niagara 4 Framework.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

• Niagara 4 Developer Certification or ability to obtain certification within three (3) months.
• Experience with Niagara Framework development.
• Knowledge of Niagara JACE Controllers.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) or Building Automation Systems.
• Familiarity with HVAC controls, energy management, or smart building technologies.
• Knowledge or experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and applications.
• Experience integrating third-party systems through APIs, drivers, or protocols.

Work Arrangement

• Full onsite from Monday to Friday
• Time schedule 2pm to 11pm Ph time
