Java Developer - Springboot & Microservices

We are hiring: Java Developer -- Spring Boot \& Microservices

Location: Glasgow -- Hybrid -- 2--3 days in-office.

• Strong experience in Java development (Java 21--25), modern Java features and object-oriented programming principles.


• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining enterprise applications using Spring Boot 4.x, REST APIs and microservices architecture.


• Experience with GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, Maven/Gradle, source control and automated testing.


• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and containerised application deployment.


• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, JMS or similar platforms, alongside strong debugging and problem-solving skills.


• Experience within the Financial Services sector is highly valued. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitLab Duo, Claude or similar platforms is also desirable.
