Java Development Manager – Fintech50

In this role you will lead a growing engineering group to evolve the core platform and greenfield systems for a global fintech in the invoice finance space. You will mentor a 15–20 person team, collaborate with product and support functions, and drive architecture and process improvements to deliver a scalable, high-availability platform. The role combines hands-on tech leadership with strategic delivery in a fast-paced environment. You will shape the technical direction and enable high-quality, timely product roadmaps.

• Lead and grow a 15–20 person development/QA team
• Plan and execute Agile development cycles
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support to deliver new features and support
• Drive development process improvements and innovation
• Deliver the product roadmap with quality and on-time delivery
• Build and mentor the engineering group for the core platform's future
• Work on Greenfield initiatives and evolve existing high-transaction systems

• Experience leading a development team of 10–20 people
• Background in Product org and fintech environment
• Hands-on knowledge of Java tech stack (J2EE/Spring)
• Experience with Apache NiFi
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Jenkins and environment strategy
• Strong database experience, preferably Oracle
• Experience with monitoring tools and performance monitoring on Windows and Linux
• Ability to quickly understand application source code
