Java Engineer
You build and improve a global payments engine, own systems and features, design scalable solutions, collaborate across teams, mentor engineers, address technical debt, monitor and troubleshoot production systems, and contribute to incident response and engineering improvements.
Responsibilities
- Build the global payments engine
- Take ownership of systems, features, or frameworks
- Deliver initiatives on time and to quality standards
- Collaborate across teams to unblock challenges
- Mentor less experienced engineers
- Lead technical discussions for larger systems
- Design and implement scalable solutions
- Identify opportunities for improvement
- Address technical debt
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems
- Contribute to incident responses
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Java development experience
- Fluent English
- Fluent Portuguese
- Expertise in Java and related technologies
- Knowledge of design patterns
- Testing
